BoxHeart Gallery is pleased to announce that we were selected to exhibit at AQUA ART MIAMI during Miami's 2016 Art Basel. North America’s foremost international modern and contemporary art fair has called Miami Beach home since 2001. Art Basel Miami Beach is the sister fair to the original Art Basel, founded in Basel Switzerland in 1970. In Miami Beach, it capitalizes on its unique geography as the nexus of North America and Latin America. We’re honored to be a part of the rich history of exhibiting contemporary art that is created across the United States and around the World.

BoxHeart will be exhibiting a collection of works created in a variety of mediums, from oil on canvas to found paper collage, from mixed media assemblage to limited edition bronze sculpture. This collection of curated works showcases the talent we represent in Pittsburgh and serves as an example of our innovative aesthetic.

This will mark our second year showing in Miami Beach and our first with Aqua Art Miami. We are looking forward to exhibiting works from our Pittsburgh-based artists Seth Clark, Kyle Ethan Fischer, Joshua Hogan, and Daria Sandburg as well as our international artists Irina Koukhanova, Kal Mansur, and Kuzana Ogg (each of which had solo “Artist of the Year” exhibitions with our gallery).

Aqua Art Miami takes place in the heart of South Beach within a few blocks from Art Basel. It’s unique environment – a classic South Beach hotel with spacious exhibition rooms that open onto a breezy, intimate courtyard – has become a favorite gathering spot for collectors, curators, and art lovers to discover fresh talent and acquire new works while exchanging cultural ideas and forming meaningful connections.
